Job Description
A K-12 school located in Okatie, SC is seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join their team on a contract basis for the current school year.
Location: Okatie, SC
Setting: K-12 School
Employment Type: Contract (CSY)
Schedule: Onsite, 37.5 hours per week
Duration: Immediate start through 6/1/2026
Qualifications:
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship (CF) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Candidates with Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) credentials will also be considered
- Experience working in school settings preferred
- Strong skills in speech-language assessments and intervention for children across grades K-12
- Ability to collaborate with educators and support staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and screenings for students
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
- Monitor and document student progress regularly
- Work closely with teachers, parents, and other school personnel to support student communication goals
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of educational strategies
