Job Description

This position is for a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide services in a K-12 school setting for a leave contract. The role supports a middle school caseload across three schools and requires onsite attendance in Oceanside, CA.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language evaluations and therapy for students in middle school.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to school-wide initiatives supporting student communication needs.

Qualifications:

  • Valid California SLP licensure is required.
  • Experience working with pediatric populations in a school setting.
  • Familiarity with teletherapy may be beneficial but this role is onsite.
  • Ability to manage caseloads with strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Candidates with certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) and experience in pediatric settings are preferred.
