Job Description
A rewarding opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide comprehensive therapy services in an elementary school setting in Oceanside, CA. This contract position spans the current school year (CSY) and focuses on supporting pediatric students' communication development through evidence-based practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized speech and language assessments and interventions tailored to elementary-aged students.
- Collaborate with educators and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective therapy plans.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school guidelines.
- Utilize teletherapy techniques when appropriate to enhance accessibility and engagement.
- Support students through the continuum of speech-language development, including delivering services to those in their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) as applicable.
Desired Qualifications:
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Experience providing speech-language services in school and healthcare environments.
- Strong background in pediatric speech-language pathology.
- Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and virtual service delivery.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a school-based multidisciplinary team.
- Eligibility for or completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred.
