Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to evaluate students' speech and language needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educational staff.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students requiring speech and language intervention.
  • Monitor and document student progress and adjust services as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff regarding student development and needs.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Certified Speech Language Pathologist (CCC) or strong Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) with relevant experience.
  • Experience working with pediatric populations, particularly in school settings.
  • Familiarity with IEP processes and educational policies.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with diverse populations.
  • Ability to create engaging and effective therapy plans tailored to individual student needs.
