Qualifications and Experience Desired:
- Active California Speech Language Pathologist license (SLP)
- Experience or interest in working with pediatric and K-8 populations
- Strong collaboration skills with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Capable of performing assessments, creating individualized education plans (IEPs), and documenting progress efficiently
- Comfort with onsite consultations and classroom-based therapy
Position Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and diagnostic assessments
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans for speech and language development
- Participate in IEP meetings and communicate progress to staff and families
- Collaborate with school personnel and families to create supportive learning environments
- Maintain thorough and accurate records in compliance with school and state requirements
