Job Description

An opportunity is available for skilled SLPs to support students in a dynamic K-12 setting in Oakland, CA. This role focuses on providing essential communication services to children with diverse needs, ensuring that each student receives the guidance and support required for their educational journey.

Qualifications:

  • Valid California SLP License with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
  • Experience working in school settings, particularly with K-12 students
  • Familiarity with varied student needs, including those with medical support requirements (e.g., g-tubes, trachs)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with educational staff and families

Location: Oakland, CA - Onsite in a K-12 School Environment

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and develop tailored speech and language therapy plans for students
  • Provide direct services to students requiring speech and language intervention
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student goals
  • Document student progress and adjust therapy plans as needed
  • Participate in IEP meetings and maintain accurate records of services provided
  • Ensure a positive and supportive learning environment for all students
