Job Description

An opportunity has arisen for a skilled candidate to support students in a K-12 educational setting in Oakland, CA. This contract position runs from ASAP until June 4, 2026, and involves working directly with a diverse caseload of approximately 35-40 students over two days a week.

Qualifications:

  • Valid state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • SLP credential on the CTC or CA SLP license
  • Experience working in school settings, particularly with K-12 students
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

Location:

  • Oakland, California

Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students with speech and language disorders
  • Develop and implement tailored IEPs to meet the needs of each student
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student outcomes
  • Monitor student progress and adjust therapy techniques as needed
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of services provided and student progress
