Exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional specializing in speech-language pathology within an educational setting. This position is based in Oak Harbor, WA, serving an elementary-aged population and is focused on providing comprehensive support to students requiring speech and language intervention.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
  • Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • Experience working with elementary-aged students preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Proficient in assessment and treatment of speech and language disorders
  • Collaborative mindset to work effectively with educational staff

Location:

  • Oak Harbor, WA (On-site at one or two schools)

Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessment, treatment, and support for students with speech and language disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive support
  • Monitor and document student progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
  • Conduct group and individual therapy sessions in a structured school environment
  • Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities
