This opportunity is ideal for Speech Language Pathologists eager to support the communication development of elementary and middle school students. Open to both experienced SLPs and new graduates entering their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), this contract position offers flexibility with options for part-time (three days per week) or full-time schedules during the next school year.
Location: Oak Creek, WI
Duration: Contract for the current school year (CSY)
Schedule: 37.5 hours per week for full-time; part-time option available
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services tailored to elementary and middle school students
- Implement individualized treatment plans focusing on pediatric communication disorders
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to enhance students' academic and social communication
- Utilize Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) strategies; training will be provided if needed
- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of student progress and therapy goals
Qualifications:
- Valid SLP certification with eligibility to practice in school settings
- Clinical Fellowship Year candidates are encouraged to apply
- Experience with pediatric populations preferred but not required
- Knowledge or willingness to learn AAC techniques
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
