Take the next big step in your speech-language pathology career by supporting students in a dynamic, collaborative environment near Novato, CA! This full-time, onsite position spans the 2026-2027 academic year (August 12th to June 2027) with opportunities to impact student growth across multiple school sites. You'll work 35 hours per week on a contract basis, joining a dedicated group of professionals committed to making a difference.
Your expertise will support diverse student populations:
- One SLP will serve at a middle school, collaborating with three SDCs (two mild/moderate, one extensive support needs), as well as RSP and general education students.
- The second SLP will cover two elementary schools: one with both extensive support needs (grades TK-5) and general education students; the other focused on general education placements.
Preferred Background and Skills:
- Valid California SLP license
- Active PPS Credential
- Experience or strong interest in school-based speech therapy (SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, or SLPA backgrounds welcomed)
- Ability to adapt interventions for pediatric populations with varied support needs, including both general and special education environments
- Familiarity with IEPs, collaborative team models, and evidence-based therapeutic practices
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide assessments, therapy, and consultation for caseloads in middle and elementary settings
- Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and document student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, aides, families, and fellow specialists
- Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings and contribute to positive school culture
