Located in Norfolk, VA, this contract position for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist is set within a dynamic K-12 school environment. The role spans from August 11, 2025, to May 29, 2026, and involves addressing a diverse range of speech and language needs across multiple grade levels.

Qualifications:

  • Certified Speech-Language Pathologist with a focus on school settings
  • Active Virginia SLP license
  • Experience in evaluating and treating mild to moderate articulation and language disorders
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team
  • Knowledge of current best practices in speech-language pathology

Location: Norfolk, VA

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) based on assessment findings
  • Provide direct therapy services to students with identified speech and language needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to facilitate student success
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and documentation as required
  • Serve as an itinerant Speech-Language Pathologist across 2 to 3 schools
