Job Description

Qualifications:

  • Valid Virginia Speech Language Pathologist license or pending licensure expected to be active by August
  • CCC-SLP certification preferred
  • Experience working in pediatric settings, particularly in schools
  • Familiarity with severe behavior disorders and inclusive practices
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

Location:

Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students with speech and language disorders
  • Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and collaborate with support staff to implement them
  • Work closely with teachers and parents to facilitate learning and communication
  • Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and interventions
  • Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities
