Job Description

An opportunity is available for a full-time or part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to serve K-12 students in Newark, OH. This on-site, contract position is for the 2025-2026 school year and offers the chance to apply specialized skills in pediatric and school-based speech-language pathology.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Ohio SLP license and Ohio Department of Education (ODE) certification
  • Experience working in school settings preferred
  • Credentials such as Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) completion, and pediatric expertise are highly desirable

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students
  • Develop and implement individualized intervention plans to support student communication needs
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to monitor progress and adjust goals
  • Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to school initiatives supporting student success
