Qualifications:

  • Masters or Bachelors Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid Pennsylvania Speech Language Pathologist License (PA SLP-CCC) or Pennsylvania Speech Language Pathologist Assistant License (PA SLPA)
  • Active Pennsylvania Teaching Certificate
  • Experience in pediatric speech therapy, particularly within school systems
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Location: Newark, DE

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech therapy services to students, tailored to their individual needs
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine student progress and areas requiring support
  • Develop and implement IEPs, collaborating with educational staff and families to ensure effective intervention strategies
  • Attend and participate in IEP meetings, advocating for students needs and facilitating the support they require
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of therapy sessions and progress
