Job Description

A K-12 school in New Orleans, LA is seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide essential services for students from PreK through 8th grade. This contract position runs through the current school year, ending on May 21, 2026.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver onsite speech-language pathology services to a caseload of 50-60 students, addressing individual communication needs.
  • Conduct assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and implement therapy sessions tailored to student needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with district policies and legal requirements.
  • Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Valid certification/license to practice as an SLP in a school setting.
  • Experience working with K-12 students, preferably within PreK-8th grades.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Open to Certified Fellows (CF) who meet qualifying criteria.

Location and Schedule:

  • Position is onsite in New Orleans, LA.
  • Full-time with 37.5 hours per week.
