An opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to provide vital services in a K-12 school setting located in New Orleans, LA. This position is designed for professionals dedicated to supporting students' communication needs through innovative therapy techniques and assessments.

Qualifications:

  • Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current Louisiana Speech-Language Pathologist License (LA SLP-CCC; CFY will be considered)
  • Experience with AAC devices and the development of communication strategies
  • Strong background in evaluations, IEP development, and progress reporting
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams

Location:
New Orleans, LA

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech therapy services to students
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine student needs
  • Participate in IEP meetings and develop individualized education plans
  • Utilize AAC devices to enhance communication for students requiring them
  • Maintain documentation of services provided and student progress
