Job Description

An opportunity exists for a dedicated professional to provide essential speech therapy services in a K-12 educational setting in New Orleans, LA. This contract position runs from as soon as possible until May 2026, offering the chance to make a significant impact on students' communication skills.

Qualifications:

  • Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Louisiana Speech-Language Pathologist License (SLP-CCC or CFY considered)
  • Experience with AAC devices for communication
  • Strong background in pediatric speech therapy
  • Ability to develop and implement IEPs effectively

Location:

  • New Orleans, LA

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech therapy services to students
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify student needs
  • Develop and attend IEP meetings, providing progress reports
  • Utilize AAC devices as part of therapy sessions
  • Collaborate with educational staff to support student goals
