Make a meaningful impact by supporting elementary students as a Speech Language Pathologist working onsite with a dynamic school team. This part-time contract position offers you the opportunity to collaborate with dedicated educators and families while delivering essential services to students from Pre-K through 5th grade.
Enjoy a manageable caseload of approximately 17-20 students as you help young learners thrive academically and develop vital communication skills. With a flexible three-day workweek (20 hours per week), youll experience both professional fulfillment and valuable work-life balance.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Minnesota Speech Language Pathologist license required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Previous experience in pediatrics, educational settings, or healthcare serving children is a plus
- Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and communication skills
- Passion for making a difference in students lives
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to elementary-aged students
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Conduct assessments and maintain accurate documentation for student progress
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of strategies supporting a positive learning environment
- Offer guidance and support to caregivers and teachers regarding student communication goals
