Job Description

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in New Haven, CT, supporting K-12 students across three schools. This contract position spans the current school year, offering the chance to provide both direct and indirect therapy services to children in a dynamic educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized speech and language therapy to K-12 students
  • Conduct and document monthly progress notes to track student development
  • Process Medicaid billing efficiently and accurately
  • Provide feeding therapy and employ the Sequential Oral Sensory (SOS) approach, a valuable asset
  • Collaborate with educators and families to support student communication goals

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Valid Connecticut SLP license is required
  • Experience in pediatrics, healthcare, or school-based therapy settings is preferred
  • Familiarity with teletherapy and clinical fellowship year (CFY) experience is advantageous
  • Strong organizational skills for managing caseload and documentation

Position Details:

  • Location: Onsite in New Haven, CT
  • Schedule: Full-time hours, Monday through Friday
  • Number of Openings: Three total, one position available per school
  • Caseloads assigned based on preference, experience, and availability
