Job Description

A skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide comprehensive therapy services in a K-12 educational setting located in New Haven, CT. This full-time contract position involves working onsite across three schools, with one vacancy per school, supporting students through direct and indirect therapy services tailored to their individual needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and indirect speech-language therapy services to K-12 students.
  • Manage Medicaid billing processes accurately and timely.
  • Submit detailed monthly progress notes documenting therapy outcomes.
  • Provide feeding therapy and utilize Sequential Oral Sensory (SOS) techniques, considered a valuable asset.
  • Caseloads will be assigned based on individual preference, experience, and availability.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current Connecticut Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) license is mandatory.
  • Experience with pediatric populations in educational or healthcare settings.
  • Strong knowledge of SLP best practices, including teletherapy and clinical fellowship year (CFY) experience.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

Work Environment and Schedule:

  • Location: Onsite work in New Haven, CT schools.
  • Position Type: Contract for the current school year.
