Job Description

A dynamic opportunity is available for skilled Speech-Language Pathologists in an engaging K-12 educational setting in New Haven, CT. Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid Connecticut SLP license
  • Department of Education certification for school-based practice
  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • Experience working in school settings, particularly with K-12 students
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Location:

  • New Haven, CT

Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students with speech and language disorders
  • Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and determine appropriate intervention strategies
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student needs
  • Monitor and maintain student progress, documenting outcomes and adjustments as needed
  • Offer guidance and resources to staff and families regarding speech and language development
