A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist position is available in a K-12 school setting in Herkimer, NY, offering a contract appointment for the 2025-2026 school year (September through June). This role provides vital support to students across pre-kindergarten through 12th grade in a dynamic educational environment.
Responsibilities include delivering specialized speech-language therapy services in an itinerant capacity. The caseload is focused on therapy without evaluation responsibilities, providing targeted intervention to help students develop effective communication skills. Experience with AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) devices is essential, as this role supports students requiring alternative communication methods.
