Job Description

A rewarding opportunity is available for Speech Language Pathologists to support elementary and middle school students during the upcoming school year. This contract position offers flexibility with either full-time or part-time hours, making it suitable for experienced professionals as well as new graduates entering their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).

Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language services to elementary school students.
  • Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver therapy sessions.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress.
  • Utilize augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) techniques; training provided for candidates without prior experience.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress records in compliance with school policies.

Qualifications:

  • Certification as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) required; candidates in Clinical Fellowship Year encouraged to apply.
  • Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in school settings.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to engage with children in a school environment.
  • Willingness to learn AAC methods and integrate them into therapy sessions.
  • Flexibility to work part-time (minimum 3 days per week) or full-time (37.5 hours per week).
