A K-12 school in New Berlin, WI, is seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide comprehensive speech and language services throughout the school year on a contract basis. This role focuses on supporting students with diverse communication needs in a dynamic educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments to identify students' communication disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each students goals.
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other support staff to monitor progress and adjust interventions as needed.
- Maintain accurate documentation, including progress notes and reports, in compliance with district and state regulations.
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute expertise on student communication development.
Qualifications:
- Valid Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
- Experience working with pediatric populations within school settings.
- Knowledge of evidence-based strategies for speech and language therapy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, families, and school personnel.
- Ability to work independently and manage caseload efficiently.
