Qualifications:

  • Active Massachusetts Speech Language Pathologist License; Clinical Fellowship candidates are welcome
  • Expertise in pediatric speech-language pathology, particularly in school settings
  • Proficient in developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with staff, students, and parents
  • Experience with diverse student populations and a variety of speech and language disorders

Location:
New Bedford, MA

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to evaluate students' speech and language abilities and develop appropriate intervention plans
  • Provide direct therapy to students on your caseload, tailored to their individual needs
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to ensure comprehensive support for students
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and adjust therapy techniques as needed
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to ongoing discussions about student needs and progress
