Job Description

A reputable elementary school in New Albany, IN is seeking two qualified Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for a contract position throughout the current school year (CSY). These onsite roles involve providing speech-language services to students from preschool through 5th grade, managing caseloads of approximately 50-60 students. The positions offer full-time hours of 37.5 per week with a flexible start date as soon as possible and continuing through the end of the school year.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech-language therapy and intervention services to students in preschool through 5th grade.
  • Manage caseloads of 50-60 students, assessing and addressing individual communication needs.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and staff to support student progress and inclusion.
  • Maintain detailed records, IEP documentation, and compliance with state requirements.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary approaches to student success.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Indiana SLP certification required.
  • Credentials aligned with SLP - CCC, Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist, CFY (Clinical Fellowship Year), or experience in the school setting.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with children and multidisciplinary teams in an educational environment.
