Make an immediate impact supporting young learners through preschool early intervention! This contract opportunity offers the chance to provide itinerant Speech-Language Pathology services in Carbon or Lehigh County, working directly with children in need of quality supportand requires a flexible approach, as assignments may transition from preschool to school-aged caseloads (PreK12) across the school year.
Key Qualifications:
- Actively pursuing or holding a PA provisional/temporary SLP license (CFY candidates encouraged!)
- Experience or strong interest in preschool early intervention settings
- Adaptability to shifting caseloads between preschool and school-age students
- Commitment to in-person service delivery throughout the assignment
- Availability for a 35-hour workweek on a school-year (and potentially year-round Early Intervention) calendar
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver itinerant speech-language therapy to preschool and, as needed, school-aged students identified for early intervention or special education services
- Conduct evaluations and assessments, developing and implementing personalized treatment plans that promote communication growth
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support each child's success
- Accurately document progress, maintain organized records, and comply with all state and programmatic requirements
- Communicate regularly with supervisors and contribute expertise across preschool and school-age settings as assignment needs evolve
