Job Description

A full-time opportunity is available for a Speech Language Pathologist to support elementary and middle school students in the Niceville area of Florida. This position is contract-based for the current school year, beginning ASAP with an end date of May 28, 2026. The role requires on-site work at two schools serving ages from elementary to middle school.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized speech and language therapy to students based on assessments and IEP goals
  • Collaborate with educators and families to support student communication development
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in accordance with district guidelines
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of effective intervention plans

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Florida Speech Language Pathologist license is required
  • Previous experience working as an SLP in a school environment is preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, families, and school staff
  • Ability to manage caseloads and deliver therapy in a structured educational setting

Location:

  • This position is located in Niceville, FL, in the Panhandle region near Destin
  • Assignment at STMM Academy and Eglin Elementary Schools

Work Schedule:

  • Full-time commitment of 37.5 hours per week during the school year
  • Contract position with no remote work option; on-site presence is required
