Job Description

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to support K-8 students with mild to moderate disabilities at an elementary school setting in Natchitoches, LA. This contract role, spanning from ASAP through May 21st, 2026, offers a caseload of approximately 50 students and 37.5 hours per week of engagement, primarily delivering teletherapy and in-person services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech therapy services tailored to individual student needs
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Monitor and report student progress consistently
  • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid Louisiana Speech Language Pathologist License (LA SLP-CCC)
  • Experience working in pediatric healthcare, schools, or teletherapy settings
  • Familiarity with caseloads involving mild to moderate disabilities across grades K-8
  • Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred
