Job Description

A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available to provide essential services within a K-12 school setting in Naperville, IL. This contract-to-hire position offers a balance of part-time hours with flexibility and the potential for full-time availability through compensatory scheduling.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech-language therapy to students ages 522 years old.
  • Conduct speech and language assessments and evaluations.
  • Develop and participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings.
  • Complete all required documentation and reports.
  • Provide compensatory services if working full-time.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Experience working with school-aged populations is preferred.
  • Ability to serve students district-wide and support a caseload-based model.
  • Strong skills in assessment, therapy, and documentation.
  • Ability to work independently at a single school site (non-itinerant).
  • Candidates completing Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) are encouraged to apply.
  • Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist with Illinois SLP License.
  • Possession of an Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL).
  • Successful completion of fingerprinting prior to start.

Position Details:

  • Location: Naperville, IL (K-12 school district).
  • Contract Duration: Current school year through May 29, 2026.
  • Hours: Part-time (1114 hrs/week) with full-time option available.
  • Schedule: Flexible days based on mutual agreement.
  • Virtual supervision available for CFY candidates.
  • Start Date: ASAP.
  • Interview Format: Zoom, individual interviews conducted promptly.
