Job Description

An opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to support students in an elementary school setting in Naperville, IL. This contract position entails working 34 hours per week with a diverse caseload of approximately 40-50 students, focusing on their speech and language development for the 2025-2026 school year.

Qualifications:

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
Current Illinois Speech-Language Pathologist license.
Professional Educators License (PEL) for IL schools through ISBE.
Experience with pediatric speech disorders, preferably in a school setting.
Familiarity with IEPs and collaborative team practices.

Responsibilities:

Assess and diagnose speech and language disorders in students.
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students' needs.
Provide direct therapy services and monitor student progress.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to promote effective communication strategies.
Maintain accurate records of student progress and documentation as required by the school.
