Job Description

An opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to support students in an elementary school setting in Naperville, IL. This contract position entails working 34 hours per week with a diverse caseload of approximately 40-50 students, focusing on their speech and language development for the 2025-2026 school year.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Current Illinois Speech-Language Pathologist license.
  • Professional Educators License (PEL) for IL schools through ISBE.
  • Experience with pediatric speech disorders, preferably in a school setting.
  • Familiarity with IEPs and collaborative team practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and diagnose speech and language disorders in students.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students' needs.
  • Provide direct therapy services and monitor student progress.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to promote effective communication strategies.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and documentation as required by the school.
