Job Description

An opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist with a focus on pediatric and educational settings. This position is located in Naperville, IL, within a vibrant high school environment, serving a diverse student population with mild to moderate speech and language needs.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current Illinois Speech-Language Pathologist License
  • Professional Educators License (PEL) for Illinois schools through ISBE
  • CCC-SLP certification
  • Experience with healthcare and school settings, particularly with high school-aged students

Location:

  • Naperville, IL

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and provide treatment for students with speech and language disorders
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other healthcare professionals to support student success
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records and progress reports
  • Provide support and resources to teachers and staff regarding speech and language interventions
  • Conduct therapy sessions three days a week, managing a caseload of approximately 25 students
