Job Description

Qualifications:

  • Active Professional Educator's License (PEL) for Illinois schools through ISBE
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English
  • Experience working with pediatric populations, particularly in school settings
  • Knowledge of early childhood and elementary/middle school developmental milestones
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Location:

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students speech and language needs
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and parents
  • Provide direct speech and language therapy to students requiring support
  • Monitor student progress and adjust therapy techniques as needed
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive student care
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and documentation as required by school policies
