A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for professionals interested in supporting students through early intervention services in a dynamic and diverse travel setting. This role offers flexible scheduling to accommodate both full-time and part-time candidates, with a focus on serving multiple communities within proximity.
Location: Morton, PA (Travel assignment covering areas including Upper Darby, Darby, Collingdale, Sharon Hill, Glenolden, Lansdowne, Ridley Park, Yeadon, Clifton Heights, Aston, Broomall, and Philadelphia.)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services within the Early Intervention program.
- Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Manage a caseload alongside a team of SLPs to address varied student needs.
- Maintain flexibility in service locations, focusing on designated zones.
- Adhere to all licensing and certification requirements during service delivery.
Qualifications:
- Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license required.
- Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) certification preferred; Emergency Certification considered.
- Experience or interest in early childhood and school-based speech therapy services.
- Ability to commute to multiple service locations within the specified zones.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, families, and school staff.
Hours and Scheduling:
- Full-time preferred: 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
- Part-time candidates considered if able to commit to a minimum of two days per week.
- Flexibility in scheduling and service areas is essential.
