A licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is sought to support an Early Intervention program serving diverse school districts. This contract position offers flexible hours with a minimum commitment of two days per week, ideally full-time Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Location:
- Broomall, Pennsylvania, with service areas including Upper Darby, Darby, Collingdale, Sharon Hill, Glenolden, Lansdowne, Ridley Park, Yeadon, Clifton Heights, Aston, Broomall, and Philadelphia.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid SLP license.
- Certification from the Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE); Emergency certifications accepted.
- Experience working in school settings or Early Intervention programs preferred.
- Flexibility to work within assigned geographic zones.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with students, families, and educational teams.
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy services to eligible children within the designated zones.
- Manage a caseload collaboratively with two other SLPs in the Early Intervention program.
- Develop individualized treatment plans and document progress in accordance with program guidelines.
- Participate in team meetings and maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Adjust scheduling as needed to accommodate client and program needs while maintaining service quality.
