Make a difference supporting elementary students in a vibrant educational environment! This contract position focuses on delivering expert speech-language pathology services to students in grades K-5 across two engaging schools. Take on a meaningful caseload of 35+ students in collaboration with dedicated educators and families.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid New Mexico SLP license required
• Current New Mexico Public Education Department (PED) credentialmust be in hand and ready to present (pending applications are not accepted)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Experience working in a school setting with children ages 5-11 preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative school-based team

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide screening, assessment, and therapy for K-5 students with communication disorders
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation in compliance with state and district requirements
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, school staff, and families for student success
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student progress monitoring
• Deliver services across two schools, adapting to each unique school culture

This full-time opportunity starts August 4th, 2026 and ends May 28th, 2027, with a weekly schedule of 37.5 hours. The role emphasizes professional growth in a supportive atmosphere, serving a diverse student population and building lasting connections.
