A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Hemet, CA, serving a K-12 public school setting with a focus on a middle school caseload. This contract position is ideal for licensed professionals who possess certification as an SLP-CCC and have experience in healthcare, pediatrics, or school-based settings. The position starts ASAP through November, with a strong possibility of extension and additional coverage opportunities in December and February.

Responsibilities include providing comprehensive speech-language therapy to approximately 4050 students with diverse communication needs. The caseload is dynamic and may shift based on evolving student requirements. The SLP will deliver direct therapy services, collaborate with educational teams, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and maintain accurate documentation in accordance with district policies.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
• Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in school and/or healthcare settings
• Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred
• Ability to manage caseloads of 4050 students effectively
• Strong communication and collaboration skills within an educational environment

Role Details:

• Location: Hemet, CA
• Assignment: 1 Middle School
• Schedule: 7.5 hours per day, totaling 35 billable hours per week
• Contract Duration: Current school year (CSY) with start ASAP through November, with potential extension
