Job Description

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide comprehensive services for the 2025-2026 school year at a K-12 public school setting in Monrovia, CA. This contract position involves delivering direct and indirect speech-language therapy services to students with a range of communication disorders, as well as managing evaluation processes and participating in Individualized Education Program (IEP) development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language evaluations to identify student needs.
  • Provide direct teletherapy and on-site therapy services across pediatric caseloads.
  • Collaborate with educators and families to design and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and compliance with all relevant state and federal regulations.
  • Participate actively in multidisciplinary team meetings to support student success.

Qualifications:

  • Valid California Speech-Language Pathology License or California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) certification.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology preferred.
  • Experience with pediatric populations, including schools and healthcare settings.
  • Comfort providing teletherapy as well as traditional face-to-face services.
  • Ability to manage a full caseload and demonstrate strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Previous clinical fellowship year (CFY) completion is desirable.

Location:

  • Monrovia, CA (with service opportunities in neighboring Duarte, Bradbury, and Mayflower Village)
