Job Description

A dynamic opportunity exists for a skilled profefssional seeking to make a meaningful impact in an educational setting. This position is designed for a professional dedicated to supporting students from Pre-K through 12th grade, addressing their communication needs in a full-time capacity.

Location: Millsboro, DE

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to diagnose speech and language disorders and develop appropriate treatment plans.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students requiring speech and language support.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure continued development.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Current Delaware Speech-Language Pathologist license.
  • CCC-SLP certification preferred.
  • Experience working in school-based settings is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students and staff.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
