Job Description

A dynamic opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support K-12 students in an educational setting located in Millbrook, AL. This full-time contract position spans the current school year, offering a chance to make a meaningful impact on student communication development across all grade levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language evaluations to identify communication disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans for students with speech and language needs.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to enhance student progress.
  • Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports according to school and regulatory standards.
  • Participate in meetings such as IEP (Individualized Education Program) planning and team consultations.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • State licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred.
  • Strong understanding of pediatric communication disorders from early childhood through adolescence.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
