Job Description

An exciting opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist looking to make a meaningful impact in a K-12 school setting. This contract position is located in Midland, MI, and spans the academic year from August to May, providing an excellent environment to support and enhance the communication skills of students.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
  • Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Experience working with children, particularly those with special needs
  • Familiarity with IEPs and the collaborative process
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a team

Location: Midland, MI, serving primarily in one school building.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students with speech and language disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students' needs
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to facilitate effective interventions
  • Maintain documentation and progress reports as required
  • Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities
  • Provide therapy in a designated space and ensure a supportive learning environment
