A pediatric speech-language pathologist position is available in a K-12 school setting in Miami, FL, serving children aged 2 to 18 in an outpatient clinic environment. This one-year contract role offers the possibility of extension or conversion to a permanent position. The focus is on individual therapy, not group sessions, addressing mild to moderate speech and language delays, including pragmatics, receptive and expressive language, reading, writing, articulation, and high-functioning autism. Candidates will not work with medically fragile children.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of pediatric clients
• Provide direct one-on-one therapy services tailored to individual needs
• Develop and implement treatment plans targeting speech and language goals
• Address a variety of communication challenges such as autism spectrum disorders, articulation, and language delays
• Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings to collaborate with educators and families
• Maintain detailed records and documentation of therapy progress

Qualifications and Experience:

• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
• Experience working with pediatric populations in outpatient or school settings
• Familiarity with K-12 educational environment and Individualized Education Programs
• Strong skills in speech sound disorders, language delays, pragmatics, and autism support
• Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred
