Job Description

A full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the 2025-2026 school year within a K-12 educational setting in Marysville, MI. This contract position runs from August 25, 2025, to June 4, 2026, offering the chance to support a diverse student population within the public school system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students in grades K-12.
  • Plan, coordinate, and implement multidisciplinary evaluation team (MET) meetings and Individualized Education Program Team (IEPT) processes.
  • Prepare and present detailed written evaluation reports to parents/guardians and the local educational agency in compliance with regulations.
  • Collaborate with teachers, principals, ancillary staff, and families to evaluate and enhance program effectiveness.
  • Provide consultation and guidance to educational staff and families to support student communication goals.
  • Complete Medicaid and other required documentation accurately and timely.
  • Work under appropriate supervision as provided by designated school personnel.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Michigan SLP Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required.
  • Experience working with school-aged children across K-12 grade levels.
  • Strong knowledge of educational speech and language assessment protocols and intervention strategies.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills within a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Ability to manage caseload responsibilities with compliance to school district policies.
