Desired Qualifications:
- Active and current Minnesota SLP license required
- Previous experience in a school-based setting is preferred
- Strong understanding of speech and language development in children and adolescents
- Ability to work effectively with teachers, administrators, and families
- Compassionate communication skills and a passion for empowering students
What You'll Do:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students in individual and group settings
- Collaborate with teachers and support staff to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students speech and language needs
- Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and required documentation in accordance with district, state, and federal guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary teams to advocate for students best outcomes
- Offer resources, training, and support to families and school personnel regarding communication strategies and interventions
