Job Description

A K-12 school in Manteca, CA is seeking a Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide essential support for students from PreK through 8th grade. This full-time contract opportunity offers a dynamic caseload of 55 students with mild to moderate disabilities, including autism and speech-related challenges, in a supportive educational setting.

Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting assessments and delivering services as detailed in Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Providing speech therapy through pull-out, push-in, and consultation models
  • Collaborating with teachers, staff, and families to optimize student outcomes
  • Attending IEP meetings and contributing to team planning
  • Serving students across multiple sites, including specialized classrooms such as Autism SDC and SDC ESN

Desired qualifications:

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathology license in California (CSLPA eligible)
  • Experience working with K-12 students across varied disability profiles
  • Ability to manage a caseload ranging from preschool intake through middle school students
  • Strong communication skills to effectively engage with families and multidisciplinary teams
  • Commitment to delivering evidence-based interventions to support student progress

Location: Manteca, California
Duration: Contract for the current school year with potential for extension
Hours: Full-Time (40 hours per week)
