Job Description

Speech Language Pathologist needed for a K-12 school setting in Lowell, OR, providing vital support throughout the 2025-2026 school year. This contract role requires a licensed professional to manage a caseload of approximately 34 students across two neighboring schools. The position demands a high level of independence, organization, and clinical expertise to support student communication development effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive student assessments and develop individualized goals.
  • Lead IEP meetings, coordinating schedules and drafting documentation with 7-10 prior drafts per meeting.
  • Deliver direct therapy services to students to promote speech and language improvement.
  • Manage caseload independently, ensuring all clinical and administrative tasks are completed efficiently.
  • Collaborate with school staff to support student progress and communication needs.

Qualifications:

  • Current Oregon Speech-Language Pathology license (SLP-CCC) required.
  • Experience working in K-12 educational settings preferred.
  • Strong organizational and case management skills.
  • Ability to coordinate and lead IEP meetings with professionalism.
  • Self-sufficient with excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
