Job Description

An exciting Speech Language Pathologist position is available for the summer, with potential for contract extension into the next school year. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a K-12 setting, focusing on evaluating and supporting students with diverse speech and language needs.

Location: Lowell, MA

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to evaluate students' speech and language abilities.
  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) and 504 plans.
  • Provide direct services in both inclusion and pull-out settings.
  • Collaborate with educators and other specialists to support students' needs.
  • Utilize assistive technology and AAC devices to enhance communication for students.

Qualifications:

  • Current Massachusetts Speech Language Pathologist License.
  • Experience working in school settings, particularly with K-12 students.
  • Strong assessment and report writing skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with a variety of disabilities and diverse populations.
  • Knowledge of IEP processes and assistive technology.
