Job Description

Step into a rewarding school-based opportunity and make a difference for students in the vibrant Los Angeles area. Full-time speech-language pathologists are needed for a contract role serving multiple campuses across one of the nations largest school districts. Your assignment would begin August 11, 2026, and run through June 4, 2027, offering the chance to impact diverse learners in grades preschool through high school. With a hard cap set at 1 hour or 20 miles for commuting, your travel will stay manageable, even if itinerant across up to four school sites (averaging two).

Your caseload will primarily consist of 5560 students, allowing you the opportunity to provide direct services while focusing on evaluation and therapyno case management responsibilities, as this is handled on-site at each campus. Assessment materials will be reimbursed, supporting your ability to deliver top-notch services.

Desired Background and Experience:

  • Hold an active California SLP license
  • Possess a valid CTC document (preliminary/clear SLP credential, or Certificate of Clearance)
  • Masters degree in speech-language pathology required
  • CCC-SLPs and Clinical Fellows (CFs) welcome (CFs must have supervision arranged)
  • Experience in school settings highly preferred

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech-language therapy to students across age groups
  • Complete evaluations and contribute to IEP processes as part of a collaborative team
  • Travel between assigned school sites within the established commuting cap
  • Collaborate with existing case managers, educators, and families for student success
