Job Description

An exciting opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) serving K-12 students in a dynamic school environment in Los Angeles, CA. This full-time contract position runs from ASAP through the end of the current school year and requires onsite presence. The role focuses on delivering specialized speech therapy services within the school setting, supporting a diverse caseload of pediatric clients.

Key Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Valid SLPA licensure required
  • Experience working as an SLP in school settings, with pediatric populations highly preferred
  • Knowledge of Speech-Language Pathology practices including Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) helpful
  • Strong skills in evaluation, treatment planning, and direct therapy for speech and language disorders
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive speech therapy services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade
  • Conduct assessments, develop Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals, and implement evidence-based interventions
  • Document student progress and maintain compliance with school and regulatory standards
  • Participate in team meetings and communicate regularly with parents and school staff
