Job Description
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available at a K-12 school located in Long Beach, CA. This onsite contract role begins as soon as possible and extends through the end of the school year. Candidates with the skills and experience to support pediatric caseloads in a school setting are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to students across K-12 grades
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessments
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and healthcare professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with regulatory requirements
Qualifications:
- SLPA licensure is required to qualify for this position
- Experience in pediatric speech-language pathology, preferably in school settings
- Ability to manage a caseload consistent with a full-time schedule
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Location and Work Environment:
- Position is located onsite at a K-12 school in Long Beach, CA
- Full-time hours with direct interaction with students and staff
